Charles grew up in central Mississippi, before relocating to Memphis, Tennessee in late 2014. He attended The University of Mississippi where he earned a BBA degree. Charles also attended The University of Georgia where he earned his Master’s in Financial Planning (MSFP). He and his wife Katy have three children - Ben, Cheney, and Eli.
He began his financial services career as an advisor with a firm in Jackson, Mississippi where he served as a manager. Charles joined Capital Planning Group as a Financial Advisor in 2015, and later formed a partnership with Chas, Joel, and Andy in 2022 and rebranded as Independent Planning Group, a sister firm of CPG. He enjoys skiing, golfing, and spending time with his family outdoors.
